Zithembe was incorporated in 2024, with registration number: 2024/553804/07.
Zithembe Bakery & Confectionery, operates a bakery facility in the Self-Help Association of Paraplegics (SHAP) facility in Mofolo, Soweto. We currently have the capacity to produce 1000 loaves a day. We also have another branch in the East Rand currently producing 500 loaves a day, and we will soon be opening another branch in Johannesburg South, with a capacity to produce 800 loaves a day.
Zithembe Bakery & Confectionery (Pty) Ltd is a South African incorporated entity, established and registered in 2024. Operated by Mr. Sipho Makhubo, has a vast experience in operating a bakery facility, and has been conducting skills development interventions in the baking space over the past 10 years.
Zithembe Bakery & Confectionery employs 12 young people, 20% of which are people with disability, and we believe we have the capacity to supply the market with the quality and quantities that our customers require, at a reasonable price.
